Burger Shack in Branson

Food is good. Not great but good. Ordered food to go. The worker had bad vision and missed that it was to go so layed food out on tray. Then went around restaurant until found people at table without food (and masks) and put it in front of them as they looked confused. So I guess it's like putting food back on the buffet. Took it back to the kitchen and realized he couldn't see so read the ticket. Hope I don't get covid from this incompetent service. Burger's not enough to die for.

At least the burger tasted good. Tried to go through the drive through. No response. Drive to a couple of other places and decided to go back and go inside to place a to go order. We walked right to the counter. The lady who took our order was not very friendly. It then took 25 minutes to get three burgers and fries to go. Before we received our bag of food, they had handed it out the drive through window. They had to call the vehicle back to get our order. The burger was good, but the fries were mushy and not cooked well.

This place was delicious! It was pretty cheap too. The burgers were huge, and the shakes are amazing. For a tourist town like Branson, it is one of the cheapest and best places to eat.

It was good. They aren't playing the Christian music any more... Kinda made all of us sad

Great food & great service! It does take a little bit to get your food but that's because it's cooked fresh to order! Highly recommend

I have taken two years to try this place and I have to say that was a wasted two years but we'll worth the wait because Burger Shack is where it is at. Two for ten meal deal delicious all beef burger hand cut fries hmmmm hmmmm good. I had a root beer float that was easily one of the best I have had. Great decor quick service and delicious food. Burger Shack is a must for anyone in town visiting and will be a regular stop on this locals eating list.

It was a busy week but it took a long time to get our food and it was just okay. Probably a little over priced for the quality.

Their fresh cut fries Remind me of Five guys. They decor is 60s surfer but the music was 80s. It was a nice little joint. The staff was helpful. The place was clean. We didn’t stay long, just popped in for a quick snack. Lies the fries the best.

As a local, and a bit of a foodie, I always seek out new places to enjoy. This one blows every other burger in Branson away. The fresh and varied toppings are built on the firm foundation of perfectly prepared beef, cooked all the way through, but retaining the juiciness expected from a more rare temperature. The sides and glass soda bottles enhance the experience, and Burger Shack is one of the Branson Strip's most underappreciated restaurants.

Burgers were great!! Fries were AWFUL!! soggy and no flavor!! Overall pretty good place.

Okay, so it's a burger place. However, they were running a deal for 2 burgers and 2 fries for $10. They cook to a juicy well done - that's exactly what we got! Toppings are custom added and they were fresh. Great quality. If I lived here, I'd probably frequent them.

We went with our friends from iowa for dinner and Randy B. made us the most delicious burgers, fries and onion rings ever..BEST BURGER IN BRANSON!!!

Well worth the money!!! Got a double burger and fries, it was super juice and tasted SOOOO good. The topping choices are fantastic. And last but not least, the fries!!! Those fries were delicious.

Food was good, but service was bad. Took a couple minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, and then he looked aggravated to have to take our order. Manager and a couple other guys stood talking for a couple minutes before they even moved toward the register. Half the dining room already had chairs on tables even though it was over two hours till closing time. Manager was basically in the dining room yelling at an employee because he had to do too much cleaning. We've really like this place in the past, but won't be back any time soon.

Great food! A little pricey but the food is made to order and it is fresh and delicious. Their milkshakes are tasty too! ❤️ Neat place! I recommend it!

Order was messed up three times. All of it was cold and our shake was just melty ice cream with chocolate syrup.

This place is amazing!! Probably the best burger place in the town of Branson! The fries are amazing too! Can be long waits at times and long cooking times but that's because their almost always packed and busy! But it's always worth the wait! Highly recommend giving this establishment a try!!

So disappointed the ad in the coupon book says fresh cut fries ok that was true but way over cooked, hand made patties that was so False ok their hand did take the patty out of the box of frozen patties but that's it for hand made, the burger was dry and had no seasoning on it FYI don't go on NYE because half of Branson is to worried about closing for the season which is for 3 months which we didn't know and weren't told when we made the reservations so all the good places to eat and good shows are closed, but not sure the Burger Shack would make the Good list anyways plus I got tired of seeing the guys butt crack taking the Christmas tree down that's something that could have waited to be done when you guy's closed at 2pm NYE.

We always stop at the Burger Shack every time we are in Branson. One of the best burgers we've every had! Check out the local coupons because there's usually a 2 for $10 or a rare 4 for $20 deal which is definitely worth it because it can get pricey.

We stopped here looking for a good burger and found it! Only issue was that the young man at the counter didn't seem to like the fact we came a half hour before closing. Once we assured him that we always aim to leave before closing he was okay. Our burgers were done exactly how we ordered them and they were delicious. The fries were very good too. My wife ordered a shake and we enjoyed it too. With a slight improvement in the service, this place could definitely be 5 stars.

Great burgers and fries and they cook it all after you order! So if you can wait it’s worth it.

Chicken and fries were over cooked. Still edible just dark. Pretty busy but the line moved fast. I ate my spicy chicken and went to Chick Fil A to get one for the gf.

Disappointing. My burger was chard and they either need to desperately change the oil in the fryer or the mushrooms were left in it way too long. The wait time is terrible as well, nearly 30 minutes. I don't blame the staff for that though. It's noon on a Sunday and there is only 3 people working. Apparently the owner's are trying to cut down labor costs. You can get a better burger at Culver's for the same money and less wait time.

Very good burgers.To save some money get the coupon that's in what seems like every travel/food brochure.

This place has changed their menu and got rid of peanuts. Very disappointed.

We've been visiting Branson for a week now and are beginning to think the locals have zero tastebuds. Every place we've been to has been just okay at best. The long list of free toppings here is great except the burgers are so dang dry and flavorless you need the whole list to make it good. We asked for a side of cheese exactly how it says on the menu and the cashier told us "we don't have cheese" yet we saw others with chili cheese fries. Okay. The chicken tenders were flat frozen patties. As much as we love Branson for it's attractions and beautiful scenery, we are ready to return home for some good food. Better to rent a place with a kitchen and cook yourself. After reading several reviews stating the burgers are precooked and reheated, now I know why they were not good.Shoneys next door is okay and Garfield's on the Landing was the best we've had all week.

Pulled in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Inside is definitely more appealing than the outside, but food was great! Especially loved the black bean burger with added toppings! Fun little place...will be back when we're in town again!

Burgers were over cooked and dry and the fries were cold. We will not be back.

Burger Shack is close to my hotel so I decided to give it a shot...I read a few reviews and went for it. They served one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. It wasn't a cute little burger, laying there smiling at me. It was good ole American bar food ready to be eaten!!! If you looking for cute, go on down the road to McDonalds or Burger King. If you want a great burger with a taste of Americana, Burger Shack is the place to go. The Fries were excellent too.

Friendly service. Amazing burgers! Wow-ee! And the FRESH CUT fries! YUUUMMMMM!(Slightly overpriced like all Branson food joints...) But overall, would definitely recommend! Yummy ice cream, too.

When we went the burgers were tasty and the peanuts were really good.

Staff was nice. Manager kept coming out to make sure everyone was happy. Food was all good except maybe the fries. Menu was recently updated, so a lot of the old burgers (salmon etc) are no longer part of their offerings. Fun atmosphere with old license plates and other old decor. See picture for new menu.

Mixed thoughts about this place. Service was friendly, but it took 20 minutes to get our food which consisted of jalapeno poppers, a chili dog, a burger, and two orders of fries. During this time people who came in after us received their burgers and fries before we received our food. My wife enjoyed her chili dog and I thought my burger was really good, although it only had one piece of lettuce that looked "cooked" from being under the patty too long. Fries were a miss...didn't look fresh and tasted greasy. We noticed fries on other tables looked fresher/crispier than ours. Serving size of the poppers was huge. Overall an okay meal, and I would give this place one more try.

Just went thru the drive thru. Cold old fries, ordered a bacon cheeseburger received a plan cheeseburger. The second burger was supposed to have all the condiments had ketchup, cheese and some funny red sauce. At best gas station burgers

Great handmade burger & fries like our mothers made! There were about 13 choices to add- the bacon & grilled mushrooms added a delicious touch. We are way too full🤫❣️

Very Good burgers for a nice price. Some of the best in Branson. Clean with plenty of seating and a good menu selection. Just a regular restaurant atmosphere, nothing exciting but good food. I will definitely return.

Food was hot & fresh, very very good!! It's a lot like five guys if we are comparing it to something. I'm taking off one star because of the slow ordering, only had one of the (2) Registers open so it took about 15 mins to place order!

We ordered the two burgers and fries for $10, a dollar extra for cheese. The food was very good. I equate this place to a fast food restaurant like McDonald's or Burger King but way better food. Service was the same I would expect from a fast food restaurant, sub par. If you are looking for fast food choose this place.

One of the best burger joints you'll ever step foot into! The food is never a disappointment! And the prices are very reasonable.

I'm just gonna say by far very worth it. New place to eat down here. The best burgers I've ever had. Great prices. Worth every penny. The fresh cut fries you can not beat it.
